Wilderer Alm means wild mountain pasture. Where there is a restaurant today, there used to be a feeding-rack for wild animals. The original cabin has been transformed to a modern, fancy restaurant for thirty to fifty guests. You can also enjoy the view from a terrace, overlooking the whole Pinzgauer Saalachtal – one of the most scenic parts of the Austrian Alps.
