Our state-of-the-art testing facility is located in the middle of hot Spain, in Santa Cruz de la Zarza, and is at the forefront of tyre development. The Hakka Ring features a diverse range of test tracks designed to push summer, all-season, and winter tires to their limits — no matter the weather. From searing heat and heavy rain to colder conditions, this is where we ensure our tires are ready for anything.
Our mission is simple: to replicate real-world driving conditions with precision and purpose. The facility’s advanced design and versatile surfaces allow us to test performance, grip, braking, and safety in both wet and dry conditions — so that the road holds no surprises for the driver.
With 10 specialized tracks, each built for a specific type of testing, Hakka Ring covers everything from aquaplaning and emergency braking to high-speed handling and variable surface conditions. At the heart of it all lies our crown jewel — a breathtaking 7-kilometer high-speed oval that encircles the entire facility, delivering an unforgettable driving experience.
Putting responsibility first
At Hakka Ring, performance goes hand in hand with responsibility. Spanning 300 thoughtfully developed hectares, the test facility is designed not only to perfect the driving experience and safety, but to do so with the healthy environment in mind.
Sustainability is deeply rooted in everything we do here. In Spain, we’ve preserved 25 hectares of natural land to support local wildlife, planted a diverse range of tree species, and installed nesting houses to provide safe habitats for wild birds — all to help maintain a healthy, thriving ecosystem around the test center.
The facility also runs on clean energy and smart resource use — with over 1,000 solar panels, white roof technology to reduce heat absorption, shaded parking areas, and advanced systems that allow us to recycle up to 80% of the water used on-site.
Because we believe great performance should always leave a lighter footprint.
