The arena was opened in October 2022. The ice surface measures 30 × 60 metres and the seating capacity is 12,000 across two tiers. A distinctive architectural element is the window bays, which illuminate in the colours of the competing teams. The steep stands provide hockey fans with an excellent view of the action and an immersive spectator experience.
The centrepiece of the arena is a state-of-the-art multimedia cube suspended above centre ice — the largest of its kind in Europe.
When you travel to the game, you can take advantage of Zurich’s well-organised public transport system, which will take you comfortably and efficiently from the Hilton Garden Inn Zurich Limmattal to the Swiss Life Arena in about 30 minutes.
